This book provides an in-depth report on the ‘Reaching Out Community Service Center Program’ that the Seoul Metropolitan Government launched in July 2015 with the goal of innovating local community service centers. This book details the goals, process, significance, and issues of the ‘Reaching Out Community Service Center Program’, with the help and contributions from those who were directly involved in the innovation.
The two main pillars of the ‘Reaching Out Community Service Center Program’ are innovation and co-governance. Reaching Out community service centers and effective policy services can become part of our daily lives only with strong and effective backing from the state, local governments, and neighborhood communities.
